What is a car seat checking station?

A car seat checking station is where certified child passenger safety technicians assist you with car seat installation. There they will teach you the correct way to install your child seat, provide safety recommendations, and answer any questions that you may have.
 

What do I need to bring to a car seat
checking station?

For best results, please bring to your car seat check:

• Your child
• Your vehicle and vehicle owner’s manual
• Your child safety seat and all parts, accessories, and instructions
• A second adult to assist with watching your child while you learn how to install your car seat

Is it necessary to make an appointment?

No, appointments are not required.
 

Do I need to own a BRITAX seat to come to the BRITAX car seat checking station?

No, child safety seats from every manufacturer are welcome.
 

How long will it take?

Please allow for 30 minutes of instruction time per child safety seat.
