- Where are the LATCH connectors on my convertible car seat? Britax ships all convertible car seats with the lower LATCH connectors stored underneath the cover. Please be certain to thoroughly review the user guide that came with your child seat prior to installing it in your vehicle.
- When does my seat expire? The service life for Britax infant carriers (including the base), convertible car seats, youth seats (such as the Britax Regent), and belt-positioning booster seats is 6 years from date of manufacture. The Britax Frontier Harness-2-Booster seat has a service life of 9 years. To prevent injury due to deterioration or hidden damage, do not use child restraints or booster seats older than their service life or if it has been in a moderate or severe crash. You can find the date of manufacture on the child restraint/booster seat serial label.
- My Britax Chaperone Infant Carrier did not come with the stroller adapter strap; how can I get one? If your Britax Chaperone Infant Carrier was manufactured on or before May 27, 2009, you may obtain a free Infant Carrier to Stroller Adapter Strap. Simply contact our Consumer Services department and a representative will send one to you free of charge.
